Tesoro

BSK represented Tesoro Refining & Marketing Company, a major shipper and creditor in the Olympic Pipeline Chapter 11 case. Olympic Pipeline, the major petroleum and natural gas pipeline running through Washington State, filed a petition under Chapter 11 following the pipeline explosion in 1999 and losses to Tesoro suffered in the regulatory rate making arena. BSK worked with Tesoro to bring about a long term settlement of rate issues that also provided for payment of significant funds pre-dating the Chapter 11 case owed Tesoro and other shippers.
